left my place of duty?
ive been in for 6months. got sent to fort polk and am deplyoing on the 26th or 27th. since then ive gotten a summarized article 15 for not shaving. i also have a pending field grade article 15 for drugs/ urinary analysis. they gave me 14 days extra duty for the shaving thing and since we are deploying soon i just said *** it im going UA. so i flew home and am just gonna stay here and then fly back right before we deploy so i can still go to afghanistan. My squad leader said all thats gunna happen is ill get another field grade art15. My 1sgt. said our batt. is short 200troops so there is no way ill get discharged. so do you think ill be good???
also i havent gone home since i entered basic and i just wanted to go home one last time before we deployed.

Answer > You will be discharged for desertion / AWOL ) You are a problem child with all the issues you have listed (, we are at war the discharge should be dishonorable and after 1 year confinement, loss of all pay with NO Veterans benefits. If your command wants to make a example of you they could hang or shoot you if charged with desertion. I believe that if One person who has gone over the wall was executed the majority of you who would would not go AWOL.
